An announcement: For a variety of reasons (my job workload, my aging and
increasingly decrepit body, decreasing interest in ALSA, declining show entries, etc) I have decided
that this was the final year for the Old Dominion Gold Cup Llama Show. I wish to especially thank
the following for their constant and generous support over the years,
without which the show would have folded years ago:

I would also like to thank the following people who labored diligently through the years to help make the
ODGC show a success: Norma & Larry Sides, Carol Kieffer, Karin King & Glen Cox,
Janet Shlanta, and Sharon Miller.

            Thank you, as well, to all the exhibitors who braved Washington area traffic, rising travel costs,
and uncertain weather to come, year after year, and exhibit such wonderful animals in the show.

Finally, major thanks go to my wife, Renee’, who helped with the countless hours of preparation
and post-show activities required to put on the Gold Cup these many years.

I have had a lot of fun, made a lot of good friends and have a treasure chest of good memories
from these last eight years and I wish everyone well in their future show careers.
