These pictures were taken of Brooklyn in October of 2007
when she was 14 months old.
Brooklyn is a striking black and white doe that has an
extremely high luster coat that drapes in a consistently long, flat
fashion over her entire body. She isn't exhibiting any bangs or
facial hair yet, but she is young and often does are not in full
coat until they are close to three years old. Hair coats with this
texture and silkiness will not matt or hold debris. This is the coat
texture that we are striving to produce in our Mini Silky herd.
Brooklyn won Grand Champion Doe at the 2007 Goats, Music and
More Festival's Mini Silky Show. This was her first show and she
earned her first MSFGA Champion Leg under judge, David Gibson.
